Tecnomen has received major expansion orders for its Convergent Charging solution from an operator in Latin America. The orders consist of a subscriber capacity expansion and a traffic capacity expansion and total USD 10 million. The expansions will be delivered during the third quarter of 2008.
The Tecnomen Convergent Charging solution includes functionality for prepaid and post-paid billing, charging and rating of voice calls, video calls, raw data traffic and any type of content services in both mobile and fixed networks. The solution includes a new range of value-added services optimised for increasing ARPU. Tecnomen Convergent Charging has been pre-integrated with network equipment from leading network vendors, and supports simultaneous use of
different network standards including GSM, TDMA and CDMA.
