Tecnomen has been chosen to supply a prepaid voice service capacity expansion to PCS Digital in Guatemala. PCS Digital Guatemala has been using Tecnomen’s Prepaid System in Telgua fixed networks as well as CDMA and GSM since 2003.
“This expansion will provide PCS Digital the needed capacity to support their continuous subscriber growth. In Guatemala the cellular market has a 50% growth rate”, says Mr Oscar Fernandez, Managing Director, Tecnomen Latin America. “The Guatemalan cellular market penetration is still under 50%, therefore we expect market growth in both the number of new subscribers and in new types of services offered."
Tecnomen’s solution features a new range of value-added services focused on increasing ARPU.
