CTI, a subsidiary of América Móvil in Paraguay, has awarded a Prepaid System contract to Tecnomen. The contracted system replaces CTI’s current prepaid platform and the system will be utilized in their GSM network. The system was delivered during the 4th quarter and taken into commercial by the end of 2005.
This deal further consolidates Tecnomen’s position in Latin America and strengthens Tecnomen’s status as the leading provider of value-added service systems.

Tecnomen Prepaid utilizes Tecnomen’s extensive experience in the provision of Intelligent Network (IN) prepaid solutions to deliver cost-effective, redundant, scalable and standard-compliant solutions at the highest level. Tecnomen Prepaid does not impose any restrictions on mobile terminals or SIM cards, and supports the simultaneous use of different bearer network standards (e.g. GSM, TDMA, CDMA). This is an important feature in markets where several network standards are in use as is the case, for example, in many Latin American countries.
